6/7/2013 – The Flying Biscuit Cafe sponsors a Project HALO Adoption Event  – 
Join us on Friday, June 7th from 11am-2pm for our very first adoption event at The Flying Biscuit. Adoptable dogs will be available and looking for their new home ;) Also, author Martha McKiever will be at the event to sell and sign her book "Finn's Trail of Friends". It's about a shelter dog that becomes a therapy dog! Project HALO will receive 15% of sales. There will be donation canisters set up at the following restaurants as well :Stomp Chomp & Roll, The Flying Biscuit Cafe (Park Road and Stonecrest), The Pizza Peel (Cotswold), Monkey Joe's (Park Road Shopping Center), Mama Fu's (Cotswold), and Moes Southwest Grill (Northlake Mall)

6/8/2013 – Convergence Riders Poker Run benefiting Project HALO  – 
The Convergence Riders are doing a charity poker run for Project HALO. It's a 50/50 poker run. 50% of the money from the Poker run will go directly to Project Halo. A portion of the t-shirt sales will as well. We will have donation boxes up in three different businesses to collect food and supplies.
